Dell Axim X50
The Dell Axim X50 Advanced, while not as multimedia-centric as its big brother, still offers a highly-connected road warrior-friendly handheld. Its main claim to fame is its surprisingly long battery life, combined with dual card slots and dual wireless all wrapped in an attractive case (give or take buttons in the wrong place). On the other hand, the new Media Player is a step backward in terms of usability and is its chief features are only useful if the user ties himself to Windows Media format and applications, something not all uses are willing or able to do. The inclusion of DRM-restrictions is also unfortunate. Still, the X50 Advanced offers frequent travelers with the battery and connectivity they need.
