We have had trouble with this equipment from the very first. I should have returned it to Walmart. The main handset's battery died after less than a year. We hardly ever used the main handset since you could not hear on it. We mainly used the second handset. I bought this design mainly since it was easier to read and dial for my elderly Mother, but this is no deal. Stay away. Customer service was not helpful either.
