I bought this COBY CT-9050 at ALCO in Havana,Il.for a much higher price than anything I've found on line, $45.00. Not only can you not hear the dial tone you can barely hear it ring when calling someone. When they answer they sound so far away but I guess that doesn't matter because they can't hear me at all. In the booklet that came with it, it says to go to www.coby.com to register and all I found there was different places to buy another phone. I'm not paying more money to send it to N.Y. I'm taking it back to the store and getting another phone, one that workes and not a COBY.
