The base includes a keypad and speakerphone. It also has a cordless handset with a base charger. Built into the base is a digital answering system with up to 25 minutes of message Recording time with selective save and erase of messages. You can listen to your messages at the base or listen to them privately on a cordless handset (helps avoid Seinfeld-like situations). There's an additional handset with a separate charger base that you can conveniently place elsewhere in your home. Got a larger home?
