The 29869GE2 is an amazing unit. I find it superior to any answering system I've ever used both tape and digital.
The 40 minutes allow for all the messages I could ever get.
It allows you to store 2 messages at all times so I can switch between either at any time. I use one for when I'm around the building and happen to miss the call and one for when I go out that is more detailed and states that it will be longer for me to get back to them.
It lets you give directions on yor message to press different buttons for different mail boxes ( if this is an emergency press 3 and it will be addressed the second I see it)
The only down fall is if the unit saves your messages to the 40 minutes I'm still trying to find that out.
I think this unit is the perfect replacement for expensive telco company digital systems where you pay a monthly fee.
