Boughtt this unit from someone else claiming that they just purchased it, but they claimed that they had also ordered a different one (now I know why). It sucks. The top filter holder is so loose, that the air leaks too much that there is no suction, so the dirt inside does not spin. Even when I cover the sides with my hands, the suction is not powerful. It is also too loud. I constantly have to check the plastic filter located inside above the main filter. It's not healthy sticking your hands up the inside of your vacuum, and getting all kinds of germs and pollen into the skin.

Sucks up a lot from the carpet but like another poster said- it smells of smoke all the time. I found it to be from belt slippage. It slips on and off constantly. I just bought a $50 vacuum from Target and it sucks up just as well without the stink.

terrible- i hate this vacuum. smells of smoke and breaks constantly. the suction is horrific as is the ergonimic design. 0 stars from me.

This vacuum is great! It's very powerful yet quit, and I couldn't believe the dirt and dust it pulled from my new carpet. The tiger paw tool is also very powerful. I think this is an excellent buy for the money.
