Pass on this one... I'm a small time landlord. I've got a number of apartments at the beach – I live in one of them. After my expensive bottom freezer Amana died an early death, I decided to get a simple inexpensive frig. Generally, the quality of the new Frigidaire FRT18S6A is prety good. But it has one annoying problem – the somewhat loud compressor seems to operator much more than other refrigerators that I own. Recently I remodeled another rental. I put a new Westinghouse frig into that unit. I then had to spend numerous days in the unit doing handyman stuff. I couldn't believe how quiet the compressor was – also, the compressor didn't seem to run that often. I used to assume that all inexpensive refrigerators would be the same. Wrong.
