This is a well built gas refrigerator. From startup, ambient temp was 75F, freezer went to 0F in about 4 hours. Kept going to -15F about 2 hours later, so I turned up the thermostat. Recovery from putting in 2 warm 2Ltr. soda bottles was pretty quick. Support from Danby is excellent. The gas man was pleased it has CGA/AGA certs as well as the usual safety pilot and the unusual CO safety device. Propane is the way to go if you have long power outages or high electric rates.
