This little dishwasher rocks! We recently moved to a smaller house with a really small kitchen which has never been updated. We can't remodel right away and we only had 18" of space next to the refrigerator that we could
use to tuck away a dishwasher. We decided on the Danby because of it's size and portable features. We didn't expect much from the performance, we just wanted a dishwasher. Any dishwasher! Much to our astonishment this small dishwasher not only holds a decent amount of dishes, it cleans better than our nearly top of the line Kenmore did at our previous house. We were
amazed by the cleaning performance of this dishwasher. For example, we were
accustomed to washing tea and coffee mugs by hand to get out the stains.
The Danby cleaned our mugs spotlessly. By the way, we did not switch dishwasher detergent, so the improvements cannot be chalked up to different
detergent.
I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for a compact, portable dishwasher. I would order from a local dealer, though, to save yourself on the neary $100 of shipping costs that the online dealers were quoting for the unit. Our total cost on this was $347 (including taxes).
