Pause feature stopped working properly. No big deal - then it started again - great. Then after less than a year old it stopped brewing the whole pot and brewed very slowly. Cleaned it but still doesn't brew correctly. JUNK!

I requested this as a gift after reading reviews on Consumer Reports - I was looking for a programmable coffeemaker in 12 cup size. I had to re-adjust the amount of grounds but have that down and have been very happy with the coffee. My only issue is that the pause and serve feature quit working several weeks after we started using it. I emailed Mr. Coffee and was sent a replacement basket. It lasted 2 weeks, now it doesn't work either. The spring located on the basket seems to loosen up or "untighten"? so the coffee continues to pour out if you remove the carafe. It's more of a nuisance than anything unless I'm in a hurry to get that first cup! I think it's a defective part though and after emailing Mr. Coffee again I haven't heard anything after a week. It's frustrating because I'd think they could do something to fix that.

I purchased this coffee maker about 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but great tasting coffee and no problems at all with the clock or timer settings. It takes about 6 minutes to brew an 8 cup pot and the temperature setting for the pot maintains coffee at your desired temperature.

Had this coffee maker for about 2 months and it worked fine then suddenly it stopped working properly. It will only use about 2 cups measure of water even if the tank is full. I tried the Clean cycle and it didn't help. I unplugged it to check inside the water tank. When I plugged it back in, the clock was moving continuously in the "program" mode and it can't even be activated to brew any coffee now.

The clock frizzed out after I made the first pot. Going back to the store.
