This coffee maker looks great but it is a piece of junk. If you don't have the carafe in the exact proper position you will end up with a coutertop full of coffee. If the filter basket is slightly off kilter, same thing. I can't tell you how many times this has happened to us. A friend bought the same one and a week later she was taking it back to the store. If your coffee actually ends up in the pot it tastes great, but this coffee maker was too expensive to be mopping up after it every other day.

Awesome coffee maker! Only one small problem - I am having trouble finding a replacement carafe to have as an extra. Finally found one at a place online but they wanted $16.99 for the carafe and another $5.99 shipping for a total of $22.98. Maybe it would be better to put that money toward another coffeemaker!
