This coffeemaker makes very good coffee. However, it leaves something to be desired in design. I like washing glass carafes in the dishwasher, but the slanted sides prevent it from fitting easily into the dishwasher rack. I ended up breaking one carafe and having to order a new one online, as the local places didn't have a replacement. When I use the strong brew feature on 10 or more cups the brew basket overflows -- kind of a mess. This does not happen with 8 or less cups. I would not buy this brand again.
