I bought the unit I have now at a restaurant supply in San Antonio in 1993 for $325. It makes coffee today (2009)like it did then. I did not install the warming plate since that is one of the things I don't like. This unit is residential, used for 10 cups daily, connected to filtered/softened municipal water, and has never faltered. I searched for it since I want to put one in my RV.

The Best Coffee Maker out there. Brews the perfect cup of coffee and does not take clutter up my counter.
