Reviewed by Prabodha on 06-21-2004 I have a Bose 901 Series V pair that I'm using for a couple of years. I was never completely satisfied with the bass it produced, always felt that it could not get deep enough.
I searched for a good sub for a long time that would get along with the 901's, because I always liked the 901's, they are the best in recreating the sound stage and mid to height frequencies..
After trying a number of subbs (forgotten the models because I didnt like any of them) I happen to come across the Yamaha 315's, they were absolutely
wonderfull, deep clean bass and lots of it.
And I have two words for those who might buy these, "Upside down", when I tried these upside down I got the best deep bass I have ever heard, and try to place it correctly.. Try different loactions in the room to get the best bass..
Cheers. Rating:
