Very good speakers, I have them since 2001 and the sound is incredible. very cristal clear sound for Movies and sound. You will need a good receiver to get the juice from these and a separete sub to really enjoy the theatre experience.I have these hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V1400 receiver and DTS/Dolby Digital make these come alive and beat the sound of bose/cerwin vega/Ar: etc. and matched the sound of polk & JBL . They still sound better than mnost new speakers in their price range and no need to replace them. Yamaha always discontinue all great products that are to cheap. overall a solid performer up to the 500$ price range just make shure you use a good receiver like:(Yamaha,Denon,Onkio,Harman/kardon,Pioneer-elite: or something similar)If you'r looking for a great performance an afortable price check these out were they still got them and give it a shot.
