Polk Audio RTi6
The RTi6 combines the simple elegance of a bookshelf speaker with advanced Polk technology and impressive performance. Taking advantage of the latest generation of Polk's Dynamic Balance® drivers, the RTi6 features a 6-1/2" woofer and re-worked 1" silk/polymer tweeter for smooth response and exceptionally detailed sound. And with its beautiful real wood veneer available in black oak or cherry finish, the RTi6 makes a handsome addition to any room decor. As always, Polk has paid close attention to the details. The RTi6's cabinet features all-MDF construction with extensive internal bracings that virtually eliminate sound-muddying resonance. It also includes Polk's exclusive Power Port technology for clear, deep lows, and an ARC port for more natural mids. Dual gold-plated 5-way binding posts allow for bi-amping or bi-wiring. The RTi6s do a great job with stereo music on their own, digging down into the low frequencies all the way to 50 Hz - not too shabby for bookshelf speakers. Or you can team them up with a powered sub for rib-rattling results. For dynamic, detailed movie sound, use 2 pairs as your home theater's front and surround speakers. For larger rooms, the RTi6s work perfectly as surrounds in combination with RTi tower front speakers.
