Reviewed by mrbilpartydj on 08-19-2009Well now the pan asian Cerwin Vegas are not as good sounding as myCerwin VegaE312's or Legacy Audio Classics though for 1/10th the priceof the Legacy Classics they sound great for most audio/ video & bass at 26 htz forget a subwoofer! they sound best being drivin by my vintage Carver receiver 2000 . I have listened with a Bryston 4B st series & Brytson bp-20 preamp also a marantz 2325 both of those units made the V15F sound boommy.A marantz 8260sacd player was used for all comparisons Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by charliestumpy on 04-04-2005 When I sold my Linn Isobariks thinking we were moving somewhere smaller over a year ago, I was fortunate enough to risk £699 UK on these sensitive biggish speakers and am pleasantly surprised frequently by how enjoyable the sound is from LP12-Marantz CD7300 & PM7200, or from Naim CD5i-Nait 5i. When I want e.g. acoustic small-scale I use old Linn Kans, and when I want to play rock or classical I am pleased by how up to the job these dark grey single-wire nice binding/4mm post jobbies are. They are in a biggish room with solid floors/walls, and their sound is 'well integrated' with plenty of bass if in recording/perfectly adequate mid-top end. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
