Reviewed by Tetsuo on 12-31-2008 Save your money after couple of uses the DVD/CD holder (black disc) tends to move down, so the distance between the lens and the disc is reduced, so the laser is not bounce back towards the lens. So it gives you the NO DISC error. Also it is supposed to be for traveling, but as the PDX-0073, PDX-0075 has region lock, so in my travels to different countries is useless. The cover lid is of cheap plastic and very fragile. If you want to blow your money and make polaroid richer buy this piece of garbage. Rating:
Reviewed by Nick on 10/11/2007 I love this little thing. I can watch movies and I can also hook up my Playstation to it and play games at my desk. It has AV jacks so you can attach a vcr or camera and watch footage from tapes. One of my best choices. although don't lean your hand on the plastic disc cover or it can scratch at the DVD while it is spinning. Nick E. Rating:
Reviewed by H. on 08/08/2007 This portable DVD player is AWFUL. We used it about 5 times, then it stopped working. It will not play DVDs anymore. When a DVD is inserted, the screen gets stuck in "loading" mode and will not play. The DVD keeps spinning until you open the case and put your hand on it to stop. When we called Polaroid, the rep stated that this "loading" error is a common problem but Polaroid refuses to fix or replace the product. This product comes with only a 90 day warranty. If it stops working on day 91, you will be out of luck. Complete WASTE OF MONEY. Rating:
Reviewed by Kevin on 10-04-2006 Nice player, but very irritating that there is no multi region play capacity. People buy these for travel, and I buy DVDs in various countries. can manufacturers get over this problem. Australia and NZ have made selling regionalised DVDs an offence, and rightly so. Come on Polaroid, be a leader in your field. Rating:
