Reviewed by Tetsuo on 12-29-2008 At first sounded like a good idea to buy it for traveling BUT in the end I think it was a waste of money. First the region code is locked so the DVDs I bought during my travel I could not watch them. Second the black disc where the DVD/CD locks and sits so it can spin, after 5 times of using it (carefully of course) this part moved lower so the distance between the lens and the underside of the disc was reduced, so I had the NO DISC ERROR. I was able to fix it with crazy glue ( I posted the procedure of fixing this in www.fixya.com if you are interested in a solution for this GLITCH :S or the term is lack of quality. So if you already own it well there is a way to fixing the NO DISC ERROR. If you are thinking of buying it, I recommend NOT TO BUY IT, save a little more and buy a Toshiba. Rating:
Reviewed by Game Dog Wader on 05/03/2007 My Polaroid PDX-0073 died after the 90 day warranty. Power on, little speaker "pop", blank screen, DVD does not turn. Save your money. Rating:
