Reviewed by Tom on 09-20-2007 Had mine 10 months-bought new. Started popping noise on some channels. Some channels started going fuzzy, now all channels fuzzy and some channels don't even work. Going through web support since it is still in warranty is a joke. At this time still trying to get help. Buy a Sharp !! Rating:
Reviewed by Dan on 06-18-2006 After returning a Sylvania 6626 as it was not up to par I discovered the Polaroid FLM-2632 was everything the other set wasn't. Much better sound and customizeable sound controls. Far better contrast/brightness ratio so that when I view movies in low light I can finally see the darker detail that the Sylvania totally lost. Thoughtful optical audio out as well as coax so 5.1 surround is readily available. The brightness seems more controllable [no more blatt-whites blinding the screen} and the overall color balance and detail are much better. Contrast control circuitry works smoothly and accurately. Overall I was able to adjust this set to look much like a high quality tube set. Very impressive , a very decent price, very attractive cabinet, though the side-mounted buttons really should've been placed on top of the set. Beautiful piece of equipment with a 1 year parts and labor warranty. Incidentally, the rear in and outputs are well-angled and well-marked for ease of us e. I would recommend this set. Rating:
