This is the best picture quality set I have ever seen in HD or SD and it is as good as my sony 40" xbr which can't be beat by any other lcd. The tc37lz800 has a better viewing angle range than the sony. The sony fades after around 150 degrees while the panasonic has litterally no degradation at 176 degrees. One irritating negative is the poor IR range with remotes. My daughter has the same set and she also has very poor IR range. Panasonic repair team is coming next week hopefully to make this work better.
