Reviewed by Brian on 07/01/2007 I got mine from Woot about a month ago, it seems worth the $150 I paid for it. Don't believe the 500 watt power claim, that's only for 4 ohm speakers (who has those?), at 1Khz, and at 2% distortion. I'd say more like 40 watts @ 8 ohms is realistic. A powered subwoofer is STRONGLY recommended for serious home theater use, as the PWM amps don't do low bass (under 120Hz or so) very well. The surround decoding is great, it looks nice mounted on the wall with one unit on either side of the screen. Rating:
