I just bought this home theater at Sam's. I really enjoy it. The only problem I have with it so far is that I sat the rear wireless speaker about 20' from the base station and had to position the two pieces so there were no obstructions and adjust the channel so the signal was clear.
I'm not sure if this is really a limitation of the product or maybe something else was going on. It works great after tinkering with it a bit!
Also, one other thing I don't really like is the remote controls. They seem cheap and the receiver remote is a little hard to read and navigate.
Despite a few flaws (which you can expect at a price this low...$450) there is nothing I can't do with the system and it sounds great. I personally prefer the sound of this system over Sony, Panasonic or similar priced system any day. It sounds full and realistic. I've already hooked up Direct TV, Video Games, DVDs, and CDs with it and everything sounds awesome (especially when you adjust the "Advanced Surround" settings...you're bound to find a setting that you're looking for quickly and easily).
I had no trouble setting up the system. I'm sure there is more that I will appreciate about it over time. It is versatile and powerful, yet simple and affortable. If you are a first time home theater shopper on a medium budget, then I highly recommend this one.
