Same exact problem for me. Twice I have sent my Onkyo LSV-500C off to get repaired and twice I have gotten home with it not fixed. This has been a nightmare, and Fry's Electronics is doing nothing to help with this issue (I bought their "service" plan). I will never buy anything from Fry's again

Horrible customer service...Onkyo LSV-500C broke down 3 months after purchase, 2 months later its still in the shop with parts delay...maybe a 3 month turnaround. Receiver is great for DVD's but is not much use to me in the shop
