Recieved it as a gift. It will not play any dvd's. Says "no disc". Company hasn't answered my email. Judging from other comments, on the web, I can only think this is imported china garbage that wasn't made to play U.S. dvd's.

Purchased the products last week, trying to email and call the company without success. The dvd player will not play region 1 (north america) dvd's. The sound ain't so great either.
