Reviewed by Kate on 07-04-2005This thing turns itself off every minute, literally! I can't get the thing to stay on, it is so frustrating. I haven't even used it in months because it is pointless to even turn it on! It sounds great and is powerful, yet easy to use. But it won't stay on, so why bother?? The problem is the capacitor on the power supply (nr.: 2352) 6800uF/16V. I replaced this one by one with higher voltage 6800uF/50V (the original was leaking) this solved the problem by me. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Mark Csiki Csikasz on 06-20-2004 I've got a Philips FWR7 for 2 years, I used to like it, because it sound great, and it record discs very fast. But it had got a big problem, it shut down automatically after every minute, and I couldn't listen to music, I always needed, to turn it back on. My mother has got an FWR7 too, and it turns off too. Although it has good sound, and functions. I hate it. Rating: ![]() ![]()
