Aiwa CSD-NS1
Simplicity and grace define Aiwa's compact CSD-NS1 Life Style stereo, which includes a CD player, a full-logic cassette recorder, and a 30-preset FM-AM radio with a digital-synthesized tuner for perfect-lock reception. A handsome wood exterior adds a touch of class, while the 4-inch bass-reflex speakers use independent wooden enclosures of thick MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which isolates them for better stereo separation. The amplifier puts out 10 watts per channel, while a three-preset equalizer (rock, pop, jazz) helps tailor the sound to your preferences. The CD player offers audio CD-R and CD-RW playback, 30-track sequential programming, repeat play (one/all), and random play. Other features include Virtual QSURROUND (which simulates surround sound effects using only the unit's stereo speakers), a sleep timer, and a headphone jack for private listening. A handy remote control lets you change volume or sources from the comfort of your listening spot.
