The RS-TX20 is an outstanding product! I bought it from onecall before I saw Keith's post. Everything he said about onecall is correct.
This is my second Tivo. Have had a Series I since late 2001, and I love it. But, I need to be able to copy progams to DVD. The RS-TX20 is a nice choice and performs well and reliably. Everything seems to work as expected. DVD burning worked well also.
And, the current $100. rebate is nice. So, the total delivered price after the rebate is under $409. A great deal!

This is my first Tivo and I love it. Especially since I do not have to pay for the Tivo service if I choose not too. Hopefully for others Tivo will offer this on their own machines. 120Gb hard is perfect, especially for encoding things at high quality. I have already captured from VHS and burned a few highlight tapes of the Pitt Panthers (at max quality because of the fast motion) and it looked awesome. After burning I used DVD decryptor to rip off the VOB file and then used Adobe Encore to make an infinity repeating loop of the dvd with some nice custom menus with scene selection. Anyway back to the dvr, this thing rocks. Said takes 8-10 hours to process first call and download of data and only took 2-3. Recommended buy if you have the money. Great job Toshiba. FYI the rstx60 and the rstx20 are identical except the additional 40Gb of HD space. But do you really need it if you can burn off whatever you want to keep onto a dvd-rw? OH AND BUY FROM www.onecall.com THEY OFF A DISCOUNT AND AN ADDITIONAL $25 SO IT COSTS AS MUCH AS THE PIONEER 80Gb DVR.... HELL YA. THEY ARE AN AUTHORIZED PIONEER DEALER. THANKS.
