The new D-R2 DVD recorder comes fully equipped for total flexibility in home recording and offers technology features like Digital Cinema Progressive Scan output, Colorstream™ Pro Component video outputs, an IR Blaster for cable and DBS box controls, Timer programming with VCR+, multi-disc compatibility, Multimedia playback for JPEGs, MP3 and WMA titles, and a Zoom mode. 3-D Virtual Surround Sound, Digital Noise Reduction, 3-D Y/C separation and an Optical Digital output round out the package. The D-R2 comes with a Universal remote control, includes 2 A/V rear panel inputs, front panel A/V inputs and a convenient front DV terminal which allows consumers to connect a DV camcorder and transfer their home video to DVD. The D-R2 is designed with convenience features that will enhance any home viewing experience.
