Good Value at $149 with all basic features.
This unit has all the features that one would expect for a VCR replacment and doesn't seem to have any critical design flaw that the other cheap recorders have had.
Pros:
Fan, good 4hr picture quality, stereo tuner, small, firewire, quick tuner response.
Cons:
No battery backup clock, hard to set timers, no DD2.0 encoder, no
Commercial advance.
