Yamaha's most affordable DVD player ever, the DVD-S510 provides high quality playback of DVD Video, Video CD, conventional audio CD, CD-R and CD-R/W discs. It passes Dolby Digital and DTS signals for decoding by amplifier or dedicated processor. The high performance dual laser pick-up focuses independently to provide top-quality Video CD, Audio CD and DVD performance. 96 kHz/24-bit compatible audio digital-to-analog conversion and 10-bit video D/A conversion assure that the DVD-S510 delivers superior performance. In addition to the coaxial and optical digital outputs, the DVD-S510 provides both 6-channel and stereo analog audio outputs. The DVD-S510 provides 1 component, 1 S-Video output and 2 composite video outputs. For maximum flexibility, the DVD-S510 permits simultaneous analog and digital output, so a single unit can feed two independent systems. Multiple Picture Zoom permits enlarging the image 1.33x, 2x and 4x. TruSurround provides 3D sound for analog inputs.

I paid nearly $4000 for an entertainment system, only to have the main component of it completely die after 2 years 11 months. This DVD cost $800 and lasted only as long as a $100 one. Severely disappointed.

It is a Piece of Junk. It does not read any DVD. I wasted my money.
