Reviewed by jeff on 10/06/2007 I don't know which is more of a ripoff- Tobisha for making junk like this or Costco for selling said junk. From now on I am avoid BOTH. Rating:
Reviewed by Chad on 06/08/2007 The unit freezes on all DVD's even fresh out of the box about every 1 to 2 minutes for 5 - 10 seconds. Apparently this has been a reqular problem with similar units from Toshiba. Rating:
Reviewed by Mike Scheurich on 05-19-2007 My Toashiba SD-K760 will not show subtitles when subtitles are available--even when subtitles are automatic. It also get stuck on FBI warning and simply plays the warning over and over. I give it zero stars but zero is not an option. Rating:
Reviewed by jon on 07-01-2006 I just purchased a Toshiba SD 760 from an online electronics store. It took less than 2 minutes to set up. I attached it to my Sony Wega 32" television in seconds, then programmed it for "component". The player works beautifully, the picture is clear and sharp, colors vivid, sound quality excellent. The remote is especially easy to use and is not overly picky regarding angles. I particularly enjoy using the 'zoom' feature on the remote. In sum: A great value. Rating:
Reviewed by Jeff on 05-29-2006 I just purchased a Toshiba SD-K760 DVD player at CostCo. I connected the component video (red, green, yellow) directly into my Toshiba television. There was no output at all, no picture, nothing. To make sure the connections were good, I plugged in a sony DVD player I had from another room into the same component video into my Toshiba television and it worked just fine. I looked for a troubleshooting page but couldn't find one. Thus, I don't recommend this DVD player at all. It was a waist of my time. You get what you pay for. Rating:
