This thing is a piece of junk. Disks frequently don't play. The door hangs half open all the time. The drawer locks up and won't let the DVD out. It has the brightest power indicator that I've ever seen; it disturbs my sleep because I can see the light with my eyes closed. You have to get up and push the power button to get it to go out because the switch is seperate from the off on the remote control. This is the worst piece of electronics I've ever bought. I tried to return it and found that the warranty is only for 90 days. The manufacturer's website requires a password to get on, so you can't complain. DON'T BUY IT !!!

Like the others say it's a piece of junk. Freezes on every break and often totally freezes up. Anyone aware of a fix? (other than making it an anchor) Does Sungale have a website?

Purchased mine from Real Superstore about 10 months ago.....quite happy with performance considering the low price ($60.00 can.) Plays all dvds I
have fed it(do not have dvd burner so cannot account for burned dvds).....also use it for vcds and svcds......bottom line cannot beat it for the value......only complaint slow to load.

Worst piece of electronics I have EVER bought in 25 years!
This thing is an absolute piece of c==p. Fully 1/3 of the DVDs I try to play do NOT work in this player. It says BAD DISC. I simply put it into my cheaper and MUCH MUCH better Curtis player and it works perfectly.
And this is when it was NEW. Didn't watch it much for the first few months so the warranty was expired when I found out what a piece of junks it was.
When it plays the machine has a high pitched whine that never goes away
and it freezes at almost EVERY CHAPTER BREAK!!!!!
It also ate the VERY FIRST DISC I PUT INTO IT. Took me an hour to get it out.
A total piece of sh==.

Since December I've gone through 5 dvd players. When I took it back the last
time I was told not to keep bringing it back and that maybe I just don't know
how to use it and maybe I should buy a creative dvd player. Not what I wanted
to hear. I'm very unimpressed with this dvd player it was hardly used when I
had it and very unreliable. Heres my email address please contact me and tell

I ordered Sungale 2002A in Dec. from Buy.com. It did not work at all. I returned it to service center. I was sent another one. It also did not work.
Returned it also and was promised another. I heard nothing for several weeks
so called to remind them. It is now 2 weeks later and waiting for a return phone call. I have also called "Buy.com" no satisfaction. Angry.
