Reviewed by F Bloggs on 04-04-2006 I have 3 DIVX players (a Liteon, & a Toshiba) as well as this one. THis is the worst by far, and I deeply regret buying this one. This single most annoying feature is that it still uses DOS style 8.3 filenames to display filenames in the file menu so if you have two avi's on your disk that look like this on your computer law.and.order.1601.hdtv-lol.avi law.and.order.1602.hdtv-lol.avi They look like this on the RJTECH 700DVX 01.LAW_AND2 02.LAW_AND_ Where the 2nd file is actually the first episode that you want to see. The player frequently "stutters" on playback, and often gets the sound out of sync. RJTECH does not seem to think firmware upgrades are necessary for this(and most of their other players), no matter how crappy their preloaded firmware is. The remote is also the worst, most unresponsive one I have ever seen with tiny buttons that the symbols rub off of. Stay away from RJTECH and their products. Rating:
