Total junk. Worked for 2 months then flat out died.

This slim-line DVD player looks slick and plays my VCDs and MP3s just fine but I bought this as a DVD player and that is where it is hurting. For
starters there is a lot of skipping when changing chapters during the movie.
When I manually change chapters it is fine, but when the movie is just playing, the chapter changes skip a few seconds before and after the
chapter. I have checked new and old movies and the player seems to have no preference for skipping. It is an extreme annoyance to miss a few seconds in between chapters of each movie. I know this may not occur on all of the DP-312s but I know I am not alone in this. I have been told it is a thermal problem with the unit. Too much heat. I am hoping to have this corrected by Norcent but only time will tell. I gave a poor rating instead of acceptable because I feel it is completely unacceptable that a "DVD player" will not play DVDs properly.
