After 1 1/2 years is suddenly stopped playing and discs based on cd media ie. mp3, music cd's, vcd, jpegs. While it still plays dvd movie discs..
even dvd discs with any sort of "data" such as mp3, jpegs, etc. simply will NOT play any more.
I had purchased 2 of these players... one still works fine with all of these media formats... at least for now!
No product should just fail in a year and a half... not in this day and age!
I am just glad memorex does not make pace-makers... at least I hope they don't!
