The JVC XV-NP10S is a slim DVD Player/Memory Card Reader -- an "all-in-one" player that that makes it easy to enjoy video or digital stills. The memory card reader can read data from a variety of memory cards, including SD/MMC, Compact Flash, Smart Media, XD and Memory Stick. Now you can take digital still images and simply play them on you television with ease. But don't forget about the DVD features, such as Digital Direct Progressive Scan to get high-resolution video. The XV-NP10S plays DVD & CD; it also plays CD-R/RW recordable CD formats, DVD-R, DVD-RW SVCD, VCD, JPEG, WMA and MP3 formats, MPEG-4 and DivX. This player is very poor built!
Only have it for two months and it's already broken, call tech support and never get a person, just computer generated crap. I call the only two authorized center for JVC one is out of business and got the wrong phone number for the other one.
Be i'll never buy another JVC product!
