Denon's DVM-2815 delivers the kind of crystal-clear picture and sound that you'd expect from a high-end single-disc player, not a changer! It combines advanced technology (progressive-scan video, multichannel DVD-Audio playback), with Denon's sturdy build quality. This is one of an elite handful of DVD changers to include Faroudja's advanced DCDi™ de-interlacer. DCDi ensures smooth, natural-looking DVD picture quality by eliminating the jagged edges and other artifacts that can occur when film-based images are converted to video. Another smart feature is a 2MB memory buffer, which allows for quick layer changes when viewing dual-layer DVD discs, minimizing pauses in playback. When playing multichannel DVD movies or DVD-Audio discs, digital bass management lets you preset speaker configurations, delay time and channel levels to precisely match your equipment and preference. Like virtually all DVD-Audio players, the DVM-2815 also includes multichannel Dolby® Digital/DTS® decoding for DVD soundtracks. (Of course, digital outputs are provided for connecting to a Dolby Digital/DTS receiver, too.)
