Denon DVD-910
Product Rating
If you've recently upgraded to a bigger or better TV and want to see just how good your picture can look, connect it to Denon's DVD-910. This well-crafted progressive-scan player uses Faroudja's acclaimed DCDi™ de-interlacer (often found on megabuck players). Progressive-scan output treats you to stunning detail and ultra-smooth motion when viewed on an HD-capable TV. (Or use interlaced-scan mode if you have a regular TV; you'll still get an amazing picture!) The DVD-910's 2MB memory buffer allows for quick layer changes when viewing dual-layer DVD discs, minimizing pauses in playback. Denon's players are consistently among the best-sounding around, and the DVD-910 continues that tradition. In addition to standard CDs, you can play several flavors of discs you've burned: audio, MP3, or WMA (Windows Media Audio) CD-Rs and CD-RWs. For maximum sonic impact with DVDs, connect the digital output to a Dolby® Digital/DTS® receiver.

Reviewed by steve on 05-03-2004 This DVD player has a terrible flicker, especially on dark scenes, on my Sony Vega TV. This is excusable !!! I don't expect this from Denon. I expect perfection or I will go to WalMart to buy low quality electronics. Rating:
