The Denon DVD-1600 is designed to bring out performance of both pure audio and A V Sources, the audio only mode allows the audio signal from DVD audio sources to maintain its purity as it bypass the video circuity and is D A converted at the very high resolution of 24 bits and 192 KHZ sampling.

- 3:2 pulldown detection; DVD-audio with digital low-pass bass management
