X is for Xplod, and that's exactly what Sony is doing on the car audio scene with their new '05 line of Xplod car speakers. Sony dares you to pour on the power and disturb the peace with their new H-series of 4-way speakers. Sony's new Highly Oriented Polyolefin (HOP) cones are stronger and lighter than traditional polypropylene, so you get smoother response, greater linearity, and lower distortion. A butyl rubber surround minimizes acoustic distortion. A red-encased balanced dome midrange and PEI (Polyether Imide) dome tweeters produce some sweet soundin' tuneage. Includes mounting hardware and grilles.
