Two pair of these Pyramids hooked to the front & rear channels of my MTX TA 5400X amp. One in each door and one at the rear of each arm rest in the back seat. The MTX amp is puting out 98W to each of these speakers + 25 from the head unit. They handle the highs, lows and everything in between without breaking a sweat. I tested these speakers with everything from crappy hip-hop to classic concerto and country to heavy metal, then drove around town for 2 hours, making my runs, and had the head unit up 3/4 way the entire time. Pyramid does still make quality components and this makes my third Pyramid purchase that ends with satisfaction. The first was a PG-1000 amplifier that is still working today. The second was a cheesy AM/FM/Cassette that powered the afore mentioned amplifier for 10 years, which BTW, is also still working fine. I don't know what the talk is about Pyramid being a disapointment, I haven't been disapointed yet. Try getting 1/4 the power and clarity from other brands (names witheld to protect the innocent) without spending 4 times as much.
