Product Rating
Here is Sonys incredible new TFT screen CD / MP3 receiver! The high-resolution, full-color, full-motion display gives this faceplate a whole new personality. Pop in a CD-R with your own pictures, or feed in a live video signal from a DVD, VCP, or game console to completely customize the screen. Video capture feature allows up to 100 images to be ripped from the video source and saved for later display. You can upload full-motion video, your favorite picture files, animated .gifs, or watch one of the built-in animated displays. Panorama mode slides your images from side to side and stretches video to widescreen, while wallpaper mode stretches images to fit the huge screen. Reviewed by Abe Ledesma on 11-18-2004 Sounds good, looks good, easy to install, great screen but you cant add your own video just photos.
You can watch video and hear audio through the seperate inputs. I installed it on my Mercedes ML320 which has carbon fiber dash and it matched perfect. My factory speakers are mounted low so the DSO settings to make your speakers sound like their mounted higher works great, I didn't think it would make that much of a differance but it does.I wish it had more EQ settings but it sure sounds good anyway just wish I could add my own video and panorama scenes.
