Get set for some major Pioneer excitement! The DEH-P6500 CD receiver features Pioneer's Organic EL display - the white color makes it easier to see than ever before. Plus, the soft-key controls allow you to use the same button for multiple operations. And the display is great for viewing artist and song information when listening to XM Satellite Radio (requires an XM tuner module, antenna, and subscription). You also get Pioneer's newest sound control feature, the EQ-EX. Simply select your favorite Easy EQ curve, then turn on EQ-EX to boost the tone settings for even more powerful sound - it's like having twelve EQ settings instead of six! Sound Focus EQ offers independent front/rear tone adjustments that make the vocals and instruments up front more distinct, while keeping the overall sound robust. Select one of the three loudness settings to put your bass into overdrive. The MOSFET50 internal amp will easily rock your socks off with its 4-way high power. And if you want even more juice or to add extra bass, three sets of preamp outputs simplify adding amplifiers for your speakers and subs. Plus, high-pass and low-pass filters let you select which frequencies are going to your amplifiers.

This is a good sounding deck... not as clean as the Alpines but the bass
response is much harder hitting, plus I like the ease of use of this guy over
the Alpine... I am the type of guy who spends more time building and fine
tuning his car stereo than with his girlfriend... so when I say that this is a
good sounding deck... believe me it is... gave it a 4 because the round
directional button has to be pushed a certain way for it to work (I'll stick
to the remote).
