Reviewed by Henry Kloss Jr. on 10-11-2004 Being a purist in terms of audio, I don't buy into 5.1 or higher surround sound formats. I was quite surprised by the audio performance and quality of the Sherwood RX4100 stereo receiver.
I found the unit to be of solid construction and when tested on the oscilliscope, it actually surpassed the listed frequency range and the THD was actually a bit lower than listed. The construction and audio performance would compare to most receivers by the likes of Kenwood, Onkyo, Yamaha or JVC. In terms of price, it's a steal. Rating:
