Not for your grandpa or uncle Joe to hook up. Expert installation to get the most out of it. I actually consider myself "fluent" in hooking up wires, gadgets, speakers etc, but this one was no easy task. The problem is that
it's just not a plug and play, it requires some programming to tell it what setup you have, it's not extremely difficult, but one bad hookup and you're
back to square one. But when the satisfaction of getting everything rolling, this receiver is the "epitomy of sound". Endorsed by the folks at LucasFilm LTD and enhanced by THX technology, this receiver will make your neighbors very unhappy. I didn't think spending more on a receiver would do much for
me, but it's like night and day compared to your standard receiver. Don't worry about not having enough inputs and outputs, both digital and analog. I have an XBOX, PS2, Gamecube, DVD, VCR, Satellite, Cable and Dreamcast all hooked to it and I still have gobs of empties left. It's definitely a
monster and well worth your money. If you can get this with your hard earned cash, by all means do so.
