Reviewed by Jeremy on 07-16-2006 This receiver is a great receiver. I purchased it in 2002 and have been using it everyday since. I had yamaha speakers connected, but just last week I purchased some B&W speakers (300 series). I would consider myself an abuser of this receiver. When its on (which is everyday for at least 5 hrs) I play it loud, so I think I have really worked this receiver for the past 4 years. I have been very satisfied and have not seen any indications that lead me to believe it wouldn't work for another couple of years. Rating:
Reviewed by joseph on 02-26-2006 i had mine for about 3 months and it messed up, it wouldnt cut on or anything. this stero is not worth the money and should not be bought by anyone. the klh 200 watt 3100 sounds twice as good as the 5100 anyways. Rating:

Reviewed by Sam on 10-24-2004 I've been using the unit for a year so far with excellent results. I have it connected to an RCA Home theater speaker system. I scared my wife several times with the surround sound effects, so it can't be as bad as some people might think.
The power is way more than enough for any normal listening, and the "user-friendly" part, is, as has been said in other reviews, very easy if you read the instructions.
For the price, it can't be beat, in my book. Rating:
