Crisp, clear and powerful. Controls are user friendly, though more so if you take time to read the manual. Compared to the few other 2-channel receivers (for those of us still dedicated to listening to music) it far surpasses the competition. For example, the Denon DRA-685 generates so much heat, that you had better have a fire extinguisher at hand when the receiver
is on. The CD dedicated amp produces outstanding clarity to any CD. As for
the FM antenna, I cannot comment as I'm connected via cable. For the price,
the RX-777 cannot be matched.
